is a diverse alliance of human rights defenders, artists, coaches, trainers and youth workers who are working in the interests of vulnerable groups of young people and creating sustainable conditions for their participation and development.

Key activities

“Happiness with own hands” – empowerment entrepreneurship & art-therapy course for 102 young parents from the internally displaced people and local communities. This activity was entered into the UNDP handbook which highlights 27 best practices and case studies to successfully address the challenges of internal displacement in Ukraine; 

TOSOCO (Tolerance, Solidarity, Competence) school for young activists (2016-2017) supported by Council of Europe; 

social cohesion project #FrankivskWithoutVisas for 2017-19 years, over 3000 beneficiaries, supported by International Organisation of Migration; grassroots football school for social involvement of 120 girls and boys “Come On! Let`s Play!”, supported by top-club FC “Shakhtar” (Donetsk); 

permanent Youth Club of Human Diversity “Just Take Your Cup 4 Tea” (over 150 participants). 

In December 2016, LOFT launched “Play for Human Rights!” Campaign, which shares with sport educators successful practices of equal involvement from professional football clubs in conjunction with Human Rights education. “League of Tolerance” has significant experience in Sport for Development sphere and realized such initiatives as long term Holistic Football School, publishing of the “Football V Homophobia” manual, adapted versions of social football3 method from streetfootballworld network and gender equality self-evaluation instrument for school educators from Academy Creteil, France, panel discussions “Football for Everyone” (with presentation from Police Officers from Western Ukraine about respect to human diversity on the stadiums) and “People with disabilities. Education, Protection, Sport”. 

LOFT is a member of FARE Network, strategic antidiscrimination partner of the UEFA, and potential candidate to the streetfootballworld network, the biggest Football for Good network in the world. Size of the organisation – small, 11 members. Geography of activities – whole Ukraine, Moldova, Switzerland, France, Azerbaijan, Italy.
